This series is the natural continuation of the earlier 'Natura Incognita' one. It has been taken up again after the two-year exclusive work on the 'Propter Nuptias' and 'Comunion' series, so we have captured the evolution of Miroir Noir’s style present in all of them to restart an old theme using new graphic discoveries.
We tried to explain the beauty of dogs and their infinite plasticity, again painting with a shrunken palette, as well as faking black and white.
Developing these paintings lead us to explore 'faux' whites and 'faked' blacks, along with the most elusive ways to apply paint on a canvas.
